Newsflash
Politics of hate, submit and bad mother. In contrast to her former husband, father of the family sample. And what is the truth about the model's Jordan? Certainly more complicated than appearances. Katie Price is a person entering the extreme to extreme and full of contradictions. Model, which is appearing under the pseudonym Jordan has made millions for their beauty, says he wants love, not sex. This ruthless businesswoman who came to everything on his own, he confesses that he is hungry of love and warmth. It seems hard, but it is clearly only an illusion, what armor built to hide the fragile Katie, again and again wounded by life and people. |

WHAT IT'S ABOUT: Xero is forced to hold off on terminating Tony the Bosnian House Chief until he finds out the truth about his situation, the Doctor and Twig play some street-ball and Trent faces off with the Rev. I really began to realize with this issue how much I'm going to miss this book. It's had some great issues previously, but this one was my favorite. It contained all the espionage and intrigue, had a trademark Priest plot twist that I did not *even* see coming, showed us a cool game of streetball, and moved the Rev/Trent plot forward too. Highly Recommended. On with the show... The Spook Priest (Writer)/ Eduardo Barreto (Art)/ Willie Schubert (Letters)/ Jason Scott Jones (Colors) POSSIBLE SPOILERS WHAT I LIKED: I'm shocked at how good Barreto's art was here. I didn't even notice at first that Chriscross was gone, and that's the highest compliment I can pay on this book that has been defined visually by his _style_. It took me a second to grasp what was going on and why with Tony. I like that a lot. Priest's Xero makes you think, which is no doubt why it's being cancelled. Wouldn't want your readers to start thinking, or they might start asking why there have to be four Super-_title_s. That street game was fantastic. Not only does it feature the Doctor, one of the best supporting characters in the book, but it adds some clear definition to Twig and Barreto does a great job showing us the game. Trent and the Rev. Having Rev lose it and just kick the crap out of him would have been too obvious, wouldn't it, Priest? Having him start praying for reconciliation must have made Trent feel just like crap. The revelation. The headaches were all leading up to something, namely that Tony wasn't what he seemed. I never saw it coming, and I loved it when it was revealed. One question, is that See you in St. Louis a threat related to his location, or should it be read ala Bugs Bunny, So long screwy, see ya in St. Louis? WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: Damn, I wish this series wasn't going. We're seeing Trent develop a conscience of his own at the same time his brother Xero does. There's so much development potential here, and seeing the fascinating characters here grow and change would have been nice. But lord knows we don't want growth and change, unless it involves turning a character electric blue or breaking his spine. Slow growth developed over time, the way people actually do, is boring. Xero should have grown an extra head or something, Priest. Geez. Comments from the peanut gallery? Snap Judgments are available as a weekly e-mail digest by request to

Is this some sort of pun or gag, by the way? See you in St. Louis? It sounds vaguely familiar. A song _title_, right? If this has anything to do with GREEN ACRES though, I'm going hit someone.

If this has anything to do with GREEN ACRES though, I'm going hit someone. All forms of entertainment have something to do with GREEN ACRES. That's why it's important to know the theme song. GREEN ACRES does *NOT* have a theme song. And the wife's a better murderer than the priest is, was... - Hosun S. Lee - // // //-// - I'm sorry. Thanks for the summaries, - (0-0 ) you're still missed. {_^_}

Well, fortunately you don't have to get violent. Meet Me In St. Louis is the _title_ of a song from a movie of the same name, as sung there by Judy Garland. tyg
