cuckoos nest One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest - R1 or R2?  
After watching the top 100 films on C4 t'other night, I realised one classic I was missing from my collection was One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Disregarding any extras, is there any difference in picture quality etc. between the R1 and R2 version? I'm leaning more towards the R2 as it's less than half the price of the R1 Mark.

I was missing from my collection was One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Disregarding any extras, is there any difference in picture quality etc. between the R1 and R2 version? Warners are working on an SE for next year, probably to include the supplements from the PSE Laserdisc.

Cock! Ordered the R2 last night! Arse! Still, only £8 from Play - the R1 was a full minute longer, so I thought I'd accept losing that vital extra footage R1 used the same master, so there's no difference in quality there anyway. Running time must be a mistake, too, the R1 should be around 5 minutes longer than the R2 due to the PAL-Speedup-difference. Also, I didn't think it was _that_ bad. I actually _had_ the VHS before and thought it was a vast improvement. Still, I hope they're gonna do a new transfer for the SE next year. Chris
