*snip good works* Dear Underground Panther, If I were older, I'd ask you to marry me. On a side note, in conjunction with your work (although paling in comparrison... and I do vehemently agree with most of what you have expressed),  I would like to point out how the use of labels in a society strongly condition the responses of the average Joe (or Josi).  For example, the label model .  At a party, people will talk to a person, or look at a person as though they are 'like everyone else'... perhaps average in looks in or even below average.  Then when the the label model is applied... suddenly everyone tends to look at that person in a different light. you're a model?!? Wow! ... and suddenly the idea of beauty is ever so slightly expanded to include the 'model'. Suddenly people, begin sizing up their own appearance in comparrison to the model's. If the model is female, the guys begin to show more attention... and the females either do the same (smiling with daggers in the eyes)... or make rude remarks to their friends to comfirm their own threatened ideals of beauty. (which is really not their own, but borrowed from a narcisistic society).     But the labels don't stop their, as I'm sure you're aware. They include everything from Authority to Zeal ( and with an array of mental illnesses in between). Granted, labels have their function but they are a two edged sword and in the long run its the average (another label) person who gets cut depending upon the wielder of that sword... and as you have pointed out... it is usually the consumer market and big business that make the deepest cuts.
