juz posting for an update on my new MD............ i just discovered that the D3D library might be or in correctly maybe can be edited for our GMA, in contrary, our GMA950... in the D3D device library, as we know contains all the nesessary instruction to create a 3D acceleration device...i found out that our driver mostly depends on this library (also in swiftshader dlls)..and contains the instruction to create vertex ans pixel shader...the stock driver and any other MDs also contains the same instruction BUT the vertex shader are completely on vertex software shader 2.0 also but the instruction are poorly made....as result, most vertex shader capable games are not run well, as for example CoD4.. here's the plan, i might be able to edit this so called library to make it have vertex shader 2.1 AND running well on multi core CPU... as result, pixel shader are on hardware, vertex and TnL are on improve software renderer...by combining the swiftshader codes and the new dx11 razteriser software, i might be able to create a new type of MD...generally improve performance on ALL games (older and newer except shader model 3) and playable.... in fact that this is juz a theory, i might have 50% success on this project... and this was produced on windows 7 environment using Microsoft's Visual C++ 2008...so this driver are for WINDOWS 7 ONLY...i will made this type of driver for other OS, but it is time consumable......even windows 7 im not intirely sure it's working...so, bare with me here... and i need time to finish this ( 3 - 4 month at max) as im also busy with college....^^ im still testing it and working on it, so be PATIENT... cheers ^^ p.s : if this post is a waste of topic space, im sorry....i just want to give update to all of u awesome guys who help me back then ^^

Well, my inquest into this went in a totally different direction: I tried asking the SwiftShader group (trans_meta_) for only the vertex shaders... got nowhere on that. Cool, I don't have Windows 7, so I can't help test.  I'll help in testing any Vista compatible drivers though.
