I am interested in hearing opinions from those who have auditioned either the Dunlavy SC-5 or Legacy Whisper loudspeakers; ideally, someone who has heard both loudspeakers and may compare/contrast these two. The SC-5 is a relatively new big brother to Stereophile's 1994 Product of the Year, the Dunlavy SC-IV. The Whisper is a relative new high end offering from Legacy Audio. To my knowledge, the audio press has not reviewed either speaker (let alone compared them), but _base_d on the reputation of both companies I would expect outstanding reviews on both. (If anyone knows of audio reviews on either product I would be interested in those as well). My current system consists of a Proceed CD p_layer_, a Rowland Research Coherence 1 Pre-amp, and a Krell 300S Power Amp. My interconnects/ speaker cables are a mixture of Kimber cables (8TC biwired to speakers) which are currently Infinity Kappa 9's. My music listening preferences are eclectic - everything from hard rock (Van Halen) to classical (Brahms). I will however will admit to a preference for dynamic, powerful presentation with broad/deep sound stage, clear/rich midrange and high end, and powerful, tight, accurate bass that is not compromised at high volume. My listening room is in a finished _base_ment (about 20 X 16) with suspended acoustical tile ceiling and thick wall to wall carpet over linoleum/cement. Acoustics are good, and because I'm in the _base_ment the room is mine to rearrange as I please for optimal listening performance (a concession from my wife when I moved the equipment out of our family room). Your knowledgeable comments and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks,  GWC
